Since its foundation in 1993 by Luigi Castelli and his wife Caterina, BioMRF Technologies has nurtured a passion to explore the world of waste treatment technologies. Luigi, an Italian engineer that held a significant role in shaping the environmental industry over the past decades with his innovations in the fields of solid waste treatment, renewable energy, air pollution and noise control, is still leading the company.

BioMRF believes that a combination of technologies is required to achieve the ambitious zero-landfill goal pursued globally by environmentally conscious communities.
